Painting the Walls in the Chemistry Department

The Chemistry Department held an end of semester party on Friday in which the main activity was adding to the periodic table that will eventually cover one wall of the third floor of CSB. Faculty and students from the Studio Arts, Biology, and Geology departments joined with the chemists to create a truly unique and beautiful periodic table. The design for each element has something to do with the uses or properties of the element. Can you figure out what it is? There are still lots of elements left to paint.
