
GRADUATE
MFA: MFA students must complete a total of 60 credits, mount a Thesis exhibition and hand a in a brief written Thesis in support of their work.
A Sample Curriculum of each of the four semesters work is as follows:
1st Semester:
6 credits Ceramics
3 credits Issues in Contemporary Clay Seminar
3 credits Liberal Arts or Art History
3 credits Internship in College Art Teaching* OR
3 credits of another studio of choice or Ceramics
2nd Semester:
9 credits Ceramics
3 credits Graduate Art Seminar
3 credits of another studio or Ceramics
3rd Semester:
6 credits Thesis Ceramics
3 credits Ceramics
3 credits credits Liberal Arts or Art History (may be Independent Study)
3 credits Critical Dialogues
4th Semester:
6 credits Thesis Ceramics
3 credits credits Liberal Arts or Art History
3 credits Ceramics
3 credits Ceramics or other studio
