Remember...the Career Resource Center staff assist with all phases of career planning including: choosing a major, selecting a career, starting a job search, applying to graduate school, and assisting with ways to develop the skills and experience which enhances a college degree.

Career Counselors are available by appointment, or on a drop-in basis during our walk-in hours which are listed below:
Fall 2012 (beginning Aug. 27)
Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Drop-in advising hours
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Friday 10 a.m. to Noon
Counselors are available to assist in Choosing Majors and with Career Planning. Assessment inventories such as the Strong Interest Inventory and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator are available. Counselors also can help guide you to hands-on experiences, such as summer jobs, internships, or volunteer work, to help clarify your decision. Once you have selected a career field, Career Resource Center staff will help you to identify employers and research graduate programs. We also can assist in creating materials such as resumes and cover letters and provide you with job search strategies.
