Saturday, April 4th - School of Science and Engineering Open House

The School of Science and Engineering at the State University of New York, New Paltz is pleased to announce an open house for 2009 accepted students. The event will be held on Saturday April 04, 2009 in the Coykendall Science Building (CSB) (please see Campus map) from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM.
Reception to take place in the Coykendall Science Building Lobby from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM. Refreshments will be provided.
A general presentation will take place in the CSB Auditorium from 12:15 – 1:00 PM for the following majors: Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Environmental Geochemical Science, Geological Sciences, and Physics.
Following the general presentation the Biology department will have a Question and Answer session with faculty, in the CSB Auditorium from 1:15 to 2:00pm.
Tours of the Biology facilities will originate in the CSB Lobby starting at 1:15pm, 1:30pm and 1:45pm.
At the open house, faculty and current students will provide you with comprehensive information about the academic quality of our programs, options within the major, undergraduate research opportunities, and potential careers for our graduating students.
