Aquatic Biologist Search
The Biology Department at the State University of New York New Paltz invites applications for a tenure-track position for fall, 2009. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Biology with expertise in aquatic biology. The successful candidate is expected to teach courses in her/his area of expertise, develop a course for nonmajors, and contribute to the Environmental Geochemical Science program. She/he is also expected to establish an independent research program with opportunities to involve undergraduate students utilizing local waterways e.g. the Hudson River Watershed.
