Research Interests

Taxonomy and biology of fungi with special emphasis on the oomycetes (Kingdom Chromista), including the plant pathogenic species of Phytophthora, Pythium and Pythiogeton  as well as the saprophytic species of Halophytophthora from mangrove habitats.
