Course Numbers Are Changing!

• We are converting course numbers from 5 digits to a 6 digit alphanumeric number. Example: 20215 becomes BUS215

Upcoming Training

• Financial Aid staff members are in training this week and next, leaving limited staff members in the office.
• Student Accounts entire staff will be in training Oct. 10-12, and their office will be CLOSED for these three days.
• This fall training will be provided for campus users needing to lookup student information. Schedule to be announced.

It's Really Coming!

• Nov. 6 Undergraduate Admissions begins using Banner. This will immediately affect the offices of Undergraduate Admission, EOP, Orientation, Academic Advising, and Athletics. (Graduate admissions begins in Banner in January, which will affect most academic departments.)
• Jan. 8 the all new my.newpaltz.edu is launched.

In the original e-mail sent out to all faculty and staff, we included a bribe! The 18th person to respond to the e-mail was Dorothy Padin from the Office of Student Accounts, and she won a free lunch at Hasbrouck Dining Hall courtesy of the Banner Project Manager & Steering Committee!

Follow-Up
This e-mail was sent at 12:09 p.m. on 9/19/06. Later that afternoon it was brought to our attention that the 3 letter department designation code list was innacurate. At 6 p.m. we updated the list with the current codes.
