Players of the Week
Women's soccer player, Jennifer Anselmi and Men's swim team member David Gardner have been selected as the SUNY New Paltz student-athlete's of the week for the week ending October 21st.

Jennifer Anselmi (North Rockland) scored the game winning goal for New Paltz as the Hawks defeated Oswego 1-0. The goal came in the second half as she dribbled up the right wing, past an Oswego State defender and poked a low shot past the Laker goalkeeper. New Paltz clinched a SUNYAC playoff spot with the win.
David Gardner (Chittenango) took his first individual collegiate win in the 200 free in the Hawks first dual meet against Hartwick. Garnder helped his team take down Hartwick for the first time in 14 years. The meet came down to the final relay which Gardner led off. The relay resulted in a dramatic 103.5-101.5 win for New Paltz.
