Players of the Week
Women’s Field Hockey player Elizabeth Dini and Women’s Soccer player Rebecca Devlin have been selected as the SUNY New Paltz student-athlete’s of the week for the week ending September 16th.

Freshman Elizabeth Dini (Sayville) aided the Hawks in two wins this past week. The goalkeeper had six saves to post a shut out against Western Connecticut on Wednesday. In Saturdays SUNYAC match-up against Brockport Dini had 10 saves to hold off the Golden Eagles and give New Paltz the 4-3 win. It was the Hawks first win over Brockport since 2004.
Rebecca Devlin(Staten Island, NY) lead the Hawks to a 1-0 win over Vassar College last Wednesday. With three seconds of play left Devlin managed to get the ball over the goalkeepers head after a corner kick to win the game.
