Players of the Week
Softball player Amalia DiTrapani (Staten Island/Tottenville) and baseball player Alex Cadmus (Hopewell Jct/John Jay) and have been selected as the SUNY New Paltz student-athletes of the week for the week ending April 20th.

Senior Amalia DiTrapani led the Hawks to a 5-1 record on the week as she hit .500 on 10-of-20 from the plate, including two doubles. She slugged .600 and had an on base percentage of .500. DiTrapani had 13 putouts, 24 assists and a fielding percentage of .925 from her shortstop position.
Senior Alex Cadmus hit .364 (8-of-22) in seven games while driving in four runs and stealing four bases. He hit his fourth and fifth double of the season in addition to his first homerun, which came against No. 3 Cortland.
