Players of the Week

Softball player Dale Cornelius (Carle Place) and baseball player Jesse Marsh (Marlboro) have been selected as the SUNY New Paltz student-athletes of the week for the week ending March 23rd.

Cornelius led the team with a .419 averaging starting all 10 games with six runs, 13 hits and six RBIs. She led the team with a .516 slugging percentage and .514 on base percentage. She posted 24 putouts with a .962 fielding percentage.

Marsh hit .500 on the week going 12-24 at the plate with a .583 slugging percentage and .613 on base percentage. He started all seven games, five at short stop and two at first base. Marsh posted 20 putouts with nine assists as the Hawks went 5-2 on the week and are currently 10-5 on the season.
