Players of the Week
Men’s Volleyball player Pedro Medina (Brentwood) and women’s basketball player Artie Williams (Newburgh/Newburgh Free Academy) have been selected as the SUNY New Paltz student-athletes of the week for the week ending March 2nd.

Senior Pedro Medina led the Hawks to a 1-1 week with 21 digs and a #1 ranking in the latest NCAA Division III men's volleyball national statistic leaders for digs. He currently has 329 digs on the season, averaging 4.11 per game.
First year Artie Williams led the Hawks to a 1-1 week with a win over Potsdam in the SUNYAC quarterfinals before falling to Brockport in the semifinals in overtime. Williams finished the week with 33 points and 28 rebounds, including a career high 21 rebounds against Brockport, on her way to an All-tournament selection.
