The SUNY New Paltz Basketball Camp is committed to developing fundamental skills and a broad understanding of the game. The atmosphere will be fun and conducive to a positive learning environment.
The main goal of the boy’s and girl’s co-ed camp is to help each camper improve individual basketball skills and knowledge through individual instruction, station work, lectures and games.
Primary skills taught during camp include shooting, dribbling, passing, rebounding, post play, and defensive concepts. Campers will also learn about team offense and defense.
Our coaching staff is excited, knowledgeable and energetic. Our facilities are second to none. By the conclusion of the week we look forward to having the camper continue to play in school and as a lifetime activity. The camper will walk away with an appreciation for the sport.
