The Pulse of Emerging Art: Thesis Exhibitions at Samuel Dorsky Museum

NEW PALTZ -- Emerging artists who are candidates for a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) or a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree will present their creative thesis projects in four separate at the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art at SUNY New Paltz in April and May, 2004.

For over half a century, SUNY New Paltz has been widely recognized for its professional art programs, and its distinguished faculty of practicing artists who help students pursue creative interests and prepare for careers in the various art disciplines. In all programs, students are encouraged to explore new lines of investigation in their field, and assess their work within a contemporary context. Special museum hours for the M.F.A./B.F.A shows are Saturday through Wednesday 1:00-5:00 p.m. During these special shows the museum will be closed on Thursdays and Fridays with the exception of receptions.
