NEW PALTZ -- NEW PALTZ - New Paltz Summer Repertory Theatre ends its 28th season with the musical revue THE WORLD GOES 'ROUND, featuring the music of John Kander and lyrics of Fred Ebb. It is performed outdoors, on the banks of the college pond, beginning July 18 and running through August 3, 2002 at SUNY New Paltz.

From the landmark musical team that created "Cabaret," "Kiss of the Spider Woman" and "Chicago," THE WORLD GOES 'ROUND celebrates some of the most popular songs by Kander and Ebb. This dynamic musical review features the best of their work from both the stage and screen, including "New York, New York," "Cabaret" and "All That Jazz." Ingenious lyrics, perfect melodies and the insight of Broadway masters create showstopper after heart-grabbing showstopper. Filled with humor, drama, and romance, "The World Goes 'Round" is a thrilling celebration of life, love, and the human spirit, by one of Broadway's most daring and successful songwriting teams.

The cast of THE WORLD GOES 'ROUND includes Stephen Balantzian, David Cavallaro, Virginia Ferri, Noreen Lavin, and Danielle Molina. Donna Scheer directs, and music director is Stephen Kitsakos.
