NEW PALTZ -- On Tuesday, November 28, at 8:00 PM, the Choral Ensembles of SUNY New Paltz, under the direction of Dr. Edward Lundergan, perform music from Russia, Japan and America - a tour of choral arrangements from around the world. The concert is held in the Julien J. Studley Theatre on the SUNY New Paltz campus.

The evening's program features a variety of different musical styles and themes. From Russian sacred music to Peter Schickele's "After Spring Sunset", an a cappella piece based on Japanese haiku, the concert explores music with an eastern influence. The program also includes choral arrangements of popular American music: works by George Gershwin and Jerome Kern.

Tickets to the Choral Ensembles Fall Concert may be purchased at the door to Julien J. Studley Theatre beginning at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 28. Ticket prices are as follows: $5 general, $4 senior citizens, $3 students. For more information, or for directions to Julien J. Studley Theatre, call 845-257-3872.
