Career History
She has participated in artist residences at the European Ceramic Work Centre in s'Hertogenbosch, Netherlands and Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Her artist book, 'flesh and bone', is in collections at the Museum of Modern Art Library, NYC and Printed Matter, NYC.
Research/Creative Activity
Her work ranges in scale and scope from artist books to immersive installations, while her mediums encompass everything from the lo-fi (cast sugar, film, clay) to the hi-fi (video, robotics, generative sound installations). She has also on occasion ventured into performance, but often prefers to position the viewer as the integral performer of her pieces. Awards, Honors & Recognition
Professor Puthoff has received several fellowships including the Nathan Cummings Endowed Travel Fellowship and the University Graduate Fellowship from Arizona State University.
