Foundations is housed in Smiley Art Building whose large windows face the sweeping panoramic vista of the Shawangunk Ridge, which includes the Mohonk Mountain Preserve. It has well-equipped classroom studios, WIFI throughout, mobile digital presentation units, two computer labs, appropriate lighting, a studio to shoot artwork, open studio space, a large outdoor patio and various exhibition areas. It is connected to McKenna Theatre and The Dorsky Museum.
