Welcome to the Civil Society and the Internet (CSI) Survey, a short online survey for representatives of social movement/civil society organizations in the United States and Canada. Your honest input will help us better understand how non-governmental organizations in the U.S. and Canada use the Internet to connect to groups elsewhere in the world, and how they view the causes of social inequality around the globe.
About us
We are academic researchers from the State University of New York-New Paltz with no political or religious affiliation. Benjamin Junge is a cultural anthropology professor (www2.newpaltz.edu/~jungeb/Index.html) and Emily Korona is his student-collaborator. We are interested in the perspectives of groups and networks working on social justice issues, including but not limited to such issues as race, ethnicity, gender, poverty, sexuality, the environment, healthcare, homelessness, immigration, and natural disaster.
About the survey
The survey takes about 20 minutes to complete and is anonymous (that is, does not ask you to identify yourself or your organization by name at any point). You are free to skip any question. At the end of the survey, we will ask you whether you would like to be entered for a drawing of an Amazon.com gift certificate.
Thank you again and please CLICK HERE to begin survey.
