The American Anthropological Association, the largest society of professional anthropologists in North America, has put together a website (http://www.thisisanthropology.org/index.cfm) that provides further details on careers in anthropology. It highlights the skills and potential careers in the discipline. It also reports that a very recent report by the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics that employment for archaeologists and anthropologists is expected to grow 19% between 2012 and 2022, though it remains a highly competitive field.
