Alumni Weekend and Reunion 2015
Friday, Oct. 2 - Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015

Registration opening by July! Make travel and lodging arrangements now for this “welcome home alumni” weekend, with a full Saturday of campus activities and Friday and Sunday devoted to exploring the area ‘freestyle’ or meet-ups of your own. Check out the schedule below, view local accommodation listings, and plan to join us. Brought to you by SUNY New Paltz's Office of Alumni Relations and the official SUNY New Paltz Alumni Association.



Friday, Oct. 2, 2015

All day | "Freestyle"
Enjoy the greater New Paltz region on your own or with friends. Options* include shopping, dining, distilleries, Shawangunk Wine Trail, Mohonk Preserve, Minnewaska State Park, Wallkill Valley Rail Trail, Historic Huguenot Street, Rocking Horse Ranch, Mohonk Mountain House, Mid-Hudson Children's Museum, Walkway over the Hudson, galleries, farm markets, golf, and more. If you need suggestions for a meet-up location on or off campus for your group, contact the Office of Alumni Relations.

3:30 - 5:15 p.m. | Alumni Advisory Council: Members meeting

6 - 8 p.m. | Early Arrival Reception

• Campus Tour: 10 - 11 a.m. (departs from Reunion Headquarters: Student Union second floor)
• College Radio Station Tour: 10 - 10:30 a.m. (Student Union 413)

All-Class Heritage Luncheon -
Heritage Awards presentation. Dine with current and retired faculty; be sure to enter the name/program/major on your registration form for preferred table assignment seating.

• EOP Reception - Join fellow alumni and staff of the Educational Opportunity Program.

9 - 11 a.m.  | Alumni Breakfast and Hiking at Mohonk Preserve
Advance registration required for this limited-space activity. Serving breakfast items in the conference room of the Visitors Center, with hikes departing the center at approximately 10:30 a.m. guided by experienced faculty and alumni hikers. Be sure to indicate at time of registration your preferred hiking group (e.g., beginner, intermediate).
