Alumni Weekend and Reunion 2015

Make travel and lodging arrangements now for this “welcome home alumni” weekend, with a full Saturday of campus activities and Friday and Sunday devoted to exploring the area ‘freestyle’ or meet-ups of your own. Check out the schedule below, view local accommodation listings, and plan to join us. Friday, Oct. 2, 2015

All day | "Freestyle"
Enjoy the greater New Paltz region on your own or with friends. Options* include shopping, dining, distilleries, Shawangunk Wine Trail, Mohonk Preserve, Minnewaska State Park, Wallkill Valley Rail Trail, Historic Huguenot Street, Rocking Horse Ranch, Mohonk Mountain House, Mid-Hudson Children's Museum, Walkway over the Hudson, galleries, farm markets, golf, and more. If you need suggestions for a meet-up location on or off campus for your group, contact the Office of Alumni Relations.

All-Class Heritage Luncheon (SUB MPR)
Heritage Awards presentation. Dine with current and retired faculty; be sure to enter the name/program/major on your registration form for preferred table assignment seating.
Cost: $15 Alumnus/a & guests, Child (ages 4-10) $10, Child (age 3 or under) free | Three-course served menu: Salad, entree, dessert with coffee or tea; specify meal choice when registering (Traditional Chicken Piccata or Vegan/Gluten-free entree). Register now!

Lantern Ceremony and All-Anniversaries Dinner (SUB MPR)
Witness a New Paltz tradition. Toast the 5th to 65th anniversary classes at this all-alumni dinner.
Cost: Alumnus/a 1965-1935 (Lantern Society members) free, $20 Alumnus/a 1966-2015 & guests, Child (age 10 and under) $15 | Three-course served menu: Salad, entree, dessert with coffee or tea; specify meal choice when registering (Cider Braised Beef Brisket, Grilled Salmon with Leeks & Caper Sauce, or Vegan/Gluten-free entree). 9 - 11 a.m.  | Alumni Breakfast and Hiking at Mohonk Preserve (Note: Mohonk Preserve is a property separate from Mohonk Mountain House)
Cost: $12 Adult/Teen, Child (age 12 or under) free - Includes food, beverages, hiking, and shuttle access.
Breakfast catered by Main Street Bistro at the Preserve's Visitor Center, conference room; shuttle available from campus to the Preserve. Hikes depart approximately 9:45 to 10:30 a.m. guided by experienced faculty, staff, and alumni hikers (contact Alumni Relations if you'd like to lead a group!). Advance registration required for this limited-space activity. Register now!

**Must obtain wristband at Reunion check-in/registration table in Student Union (SUB) between 5:30 p.m. on Friday and 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, present to AWC Front Desk, and sign waiver to access AWC on Friday-Sunday. Valid only for registered alumni for limited hours on Oct. 2-4, 2015, in compliance with all AWC, Fitness Center, Athletics Department, and campus regulations and policies.
