Alumni* of SUNY New Paltz enjoy the privilege of being eligible to purchase an individual membership for the campus Athletic and Wellness Center. *For alumni AWC membership purposes, these are former undergraduate and graduate students who have completed 12 or more credits.
The AWC, a 57,000 square–foot facility with many modern fitness features, held its official grand opening ceremony on March 28, 2006. AWC memberships can be purchased for the year (late Aug. to early Aug.) or a semester (approx. 6 months), or by the month (approx. 30 days).
If you need assistance or have questions, please note the following offices that handle various aspects of the membership process:
- For general information about facilities and their use, and to access the application link, view the Athletic and Wellness Center Information online; to speak with person for assistance, contact the staff in the Athletics, Wellness and Recreation office.
- For submitting completed applications with payment and obtaining parking permits allowing members to park near the AWC, contact the Parking Office.
- For securing the membership card/photo ID (requires proof of payment), contact Campus Auxiliary Services (CAS) meal plan/ID office.
