SUNY New Paltz held a grand opening ceremony on Tuesday, March 28 2006 to officially open the college's new 57,000 square–foot Athletic and Wellness Center. Alumni of SUNY New Paltz (former undergraduate and graduate students who have completed 12 or more credits) may purchase a membership for $200 per year (or $100 per 6-month period).
