Each campus visit includes a 30-minute Admission Counselor presentation and a 90-minute walking tour with a Student Ambassador.
Tours Include:
- A selection of academic classroom buildings
- The library
- The Athletic and Wellness Center
- Campus dining facilities
- A residence hall and student room.
Visiting a Department
Campus visits are general in nature. If you wish to see specific facilities or speak to faculty from a particular department, you can make arrangements by contacting the department directly. Please use our department directory for individual department contact information.
Special Admission Events and Campus Visit Information
Special Accommodations - If you or a member of your party require special accommodations, please call us ahead of time at (845) 257-3688 so we can better assist you.
Cancellations - To make a cancellation or a change to an existing registration please email campustours@newpaltz.edu and include your name, phone number and the the change you would like to make to your registration. You can also call our office at (845)257-3688 and make cancellations or changes over the phone.
Art Centered Tours - Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. Choose any Wednesday, 12:30 p.m. tour session and select one of our art majors as your area of interest. The tour will include our three art facilities in addition to the other main features of the campus tour. For 2/22/12 Art Centered Tours please call (845)257-3688 to register.
Engineering Centered Tours - Friday at 2:00 p.m. Choose any Friday, 2:00 p.m. tour session and select one of our Engineering majors as your area of interest. The tour will include our Engineering facility in addition to the other main features of the campus tour.
Presidential Inauguration Day - April 13th - No Tours will be available this day.
