The program

Accepted Student Open House is a great way to experience campus. You will begin your day with a Welcome from the President, the Provost and the tudent Association President. Following the morning program, guests will head to academic sessions with our various departments. The afternoon will allow you to explore by taking a Residence Life tour, visiting our Get to Know New Paltz Information Fair, and much more.

Directions - Important Update for April 5, 2014

We must inform you of an important change to the directions to SUNY New Paltz.

The New Paltz Little League will be hosting their annual “Opening Day Parade” which will close Main Street (Route 299), in both directions, beginning at 8:30 a.m. South Manheim Boulevard (Route 32), the main thoroughfare to the College will be also closed. Please follow the following alternate directions to the College:

    • Exit NYS Thruway and turn left at traffic light.
    • At next traffic light, turn LEFT (left turning lane) onto South Putt Corners Road.
    • Proceed south (past New Paltz HS) to TRAFFIC LIGHT.
    • At traffic light, TURN RIGHT.
    • Proceed north approximately 2.5 miles to the South Entrance of SUNY New Paltz, on your LEFT.

We will be placing directional signs along this route to assist you.

Parking

Since you are our special guest, no parking permits are required for these events. Parking will be in the West parking lot and in the  Elting main, middle or lower lot. All four parking lots are located near the Athletic and Wellness Center. Student volunteers will direct you to available parking spaces.
