(Campus Recruitment Event Workers)
We’re looking for enthusiastic students who want to share their love for New Paltz with prospective students and their families. As part of the Admission C.R.E.W. you will share your experiences at SUNY New Paltz with high school students trying to figure out if New Paltz is the school for them.
What you Get: We will outfit you with a C.R.E.W. t-shirt and a C.R.E.W. backpack and of course, free meals at all of our events. You will also get some great experience toward becoming a student leader. In addition, you will be part of the student face of New Paltz. Prospective students and their families will look to you as an example of the amazing students who attend this great college.
Responsibilities
Admission C.R.E.W. members are the student contacts between the office of Undergraduate Admission and our prospective students at our major campus recruitment events. Some responsibilities include: Giving campus tours, welcoming visitors, passing out information, hosting a student for a day, and assisting Admission Advisors with the general operations of our large scale events.
Admission C.R.E.W. members are asked to participate in the programs listed below over the course of the academic year. Approximately 6 volunteer credit hours can be earned for each event.

All Admission C.R.E.W. members will be required to attend two training sessions in the fall and two in the spring semester.
