Lisa chose SUNY New Paltz because of its cost, size and the diversity of the student body. She really enjoys living on campus and is a Resident Assistant in Capen Hall. She says that living on campus allows her to take more from her college experience than just academics. She feels that it gives her the tools necessary to meet a broad range of people and the opportunity to learn about their different cultures and ways of living. Lisa is involved in the Outing Club which takes advantage of all of the beautiful landscape in and around New Paltz, by going hiking, skiing, biking, camping and so much more.
