Angela really enjoys the community atmosphere that SUNY New Paltz offers. She was nervous about making friends when coming to college but living in the residence hall community has given her so many opportunities to meet amazing people. Besides being a Student Ambassador Angela is also involved in the New Paltz cheerleading team which performs at the SUNY New Paltz men’s basketball games and travels to regional and national competitions in the spring. When asked about her favorite class, Angela spoke about the opportunities to branch outside of her major and take courses like, Introduction to Ceramics in which she was able to work in a fully equipped ceramic studio.
