Kevin found that SUNY New Paltz was the right fit for him after he came to the conclusion that he wanted to be, far enough away from home to have his independence, but not too far away to visit home easily. Kevin was very nervous about his orientation, but found that the experience helped him feel comfortable in his new surroundings, and also created a sense of excitement and eagerness for the his return to campus in the fall. In his down time Kevin finds he likes to just hang around his residence hall with friends and watch television or movies. When it’s nice out he also enjoys playing a little tennis on the campus courts or studying outside.
