For Paul, SUNY New Paltz was actually his second choice. Then he visited the campus. SUNY New Paltz became number one on his list. Paul says “After visiting New Paltz I absolutely fell in love with the school and, seeing everything it had to offer, I knew it was the place for me. When you find the right school you just know it because it clicks.” During Paul’s freshmen year he was part of the First Year Initiative program, which he feels was a memorable experience where he was able to make life long friendships. This year Paul will still be involved with his residence hall as their hall government vice – president.
