Alex Storozynski '83 (Political Science) is Editor in Chief of amNewYork, the Tribune Company's newspaper in New York City that launched in October of 2003. Storozynski worked for eight years at the New York Daily News where he was a Pulitzer Prize-winning member of the editorial board. His other awards include the Associated Press Award for Editorial Writing, the Deadline Club Award, the Society for Professional Journalists Award, and the George Polk Award. Alex has more than 20 years of writing and journalism experience. He has also worked in government, writing speeches for Democrats and Republicans. Prior to that, he was editor of Empire State Report, a public policy magazine.
