    All sociology courses officially listed in the graduate catalogue have been approved for transfer as electives at Albany. This includes al of the six required courses listed above. (For courses not listed in the catalogue, consult with your advisor to find out whether they will be approved by Albany.)

  3. How do I pay for courses if I am taking some at New Paltz and some at Albany?
    Students seeking information on financial assistance should contact the financial aid office at the campus where they anticipate taking the greater number of credits in their first year. The appropriate offices are:

  4. Can I take courses at new paltz without being admitted to either the sociology or social work program?
    You may take up to six (6) credits in sociology courses as a non-matriculated student and have those credits count toward a degree in Sociology, if you are accepted for admission. You may enroll in Human Behavior I and II (SUNYA courses offered at New Paltz) as a non-matriculated student, but you may not enroll in Micro Practice or Fieldwork unless you have been accepted for admission by Albany into the Social Work Program.
